FAHRV (Fresh Air Heat Recovery Ventilation) utilizes a 'balanced pressure' approach, removing stagnant, humid air while simultaneously introducing fresh, dry air. This innovative system employs a heat exchanger to warm incoming air in the winter and cool it in the summer, recovering up to 90% of energy that would otherwise be wasted.
Unlike 'positive pressure systems' that draw air from the roof cavity, the X-Vent is a superior option. Additionally, it features a HEPA12 filter capable of eliminating up to 99.5% of airborne disease particles and pollutants smaller than 0.3 microns.
The system also includes a digital controller, allowing for customized settings based on usage throughout the day. With three model size options (150m3/hr, 350m3/hr, and 550m3/hr), the X-Vent can accommodate homes of various sizes.
